Puppets:Education Magic

The dates for Puppets:Education Magic Institute have been finalized: Wednesday & Thursday, June 29 & 30, 2005. Additional workshops on
Friday, July 1, 2005.

Puppets:Education Magic Institute is a multifaceted two day institute designed to give people who work in the areas of Education and Therapy the tools they need to use puppetry in their work and/or other areas of their lives.

    The Institute includes:
  • Hands on Workshops
  • Performances for Children and Families
  • Evening extension for in-depth experience
  • Exhibits
  • Presentation of a new book "Puppets in Education and Therapy: Unlocking Doors to the Mind"
  • PDPs or day certificate and Graduate Credit option

On Thursday, as part of the PEMI Conference, there will be performances open to the public. These include: Frogtown Mountain Puppeteers' "Everybody Loves Pirates," and Crabgrass Puppet Theatre's "The Bremen Town Musicians."

A Froggy Fun Fest!

Friday, June 10th at 7:00pm, the Puppet Showplace is really gonna jump as we welcome back Perry Alley Theatre in a rare performance of their show The Frog Prince and Massachusetts native John Lechner, author of A Froggy Fable!

Can a short green dude and a beautiful princess find true love amongst the waterlilies? Come and find out! Perry Alley Theatre's performances always surprise and delight.

Following the performance, author/illustrator John Lechner will read from his new book "A Froggy Fable," and be available to meet fans and sign copies of it.

Don't be green with envy, come and join us for what promises to be a hoppin' good time!
