Puppets for the Planet: Recycled Puppets!

April Vacation Week!
4 sessions: Tues April 19 - Fri April 22, 
9am-12pm

Cost: $150   Ages: 5-7

Celebrate Earth Day with this eco-themed puppetry class! Kids will explore the physical properties of common recycled materials like newspaper, plastic, fabric, and cardboard. Then, we will use our imaginations to transform materials and found objects into unique puppet characters. Along the way, we will learn how to bring our characters to life to tell a story. 

Location: Unified Arts Building, Tappan Street, Brookline High School.

BRENDA HUGGINS is an educator and theatre artist who has taught puppetry classes to students of all ages throughout greater Boston area. She received her MA in theatre Education at Emerson College after studying vocal performance at Western Connecticut State University. Her work as a director, costume designer, and solo performer has been seen throughout the New England region.
