Snow Cancellation Policy
In the event of a weather emergency, Puppet Showplace Theater will cancel regularly scheduled performances. In most cases, we will stay open as scheduled unless the Town of Brookline announces an on-street parking ban.
We will make every effort to give as much advanced notice of this situation as possible and to contact ticket holders individually. Up to date information about cancellations will also be available on this webpage and on the theater's outgoing voice message.
If you have reserved tickets to a canceled performance, a credit will be added your account. To use your credit and reserve tickets to another performance, please contact the Box Office at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 617-731-6400 x101.
SNOW POLICY FAQ
Q: What determines whether a show is canceled due to snow?
A: Puppet Showplace Theater will make every effort to stay open, even in cases of severe weather. If a storm makes it unsafe for a performer to travel to Brookline and a last-minute substitute cannot be found, Puppet Showplace will have to cancel the scheduled performance.
Information about the Town of Brookline’s snow clearance and parking ban policy can be found on their website: http://www.brooklinema.gov.
Q: What do I do if I have tickets already reserved to a canceled show?
A: A ticket credit (“rain check”) will be on file at the theater under your reservation name. To reserve tickets to a future performance, please contact the Box Office at email@example.com or call 617-731-6400 ext 101. As inclement weather may also affect theater staff, we ask for your patience during any weather-related emergency.
