About the Class
Take your hand puppetry skills to the next level with this advanced techniques workshop! Dive deep into advanced movement skills and secret techniques, while receiving direct feedback from master puppeteer Chad Williams of WonderSpark Puppets. In this 3-hour master class, we will collaboratively create the ultimate gags and action scenes, as well as improve your stretches, hand strength and posture.
Participants are welcome to bring short pieces they’ve already developed to refine, or come as you are and get ready to be inspired!

About the Instructor
Chad Williams is Co-Artistic Director of WonderSpark Puppets and has toured and taught puppetry internationally. He has written, directed, and performed over 20 solo puppet plays for family audiences with hundreds of performances every year. Chad is a recognized master of hand puppetry, authoring the award-winning manual 50 Hand Puppet Techniques: Hidden Secrets and Tricks Revealed and its Advanced! sequel. He has trained puppeteers, teachers, actors, therapists and others in his unique Two-Finger Style, at universities and puppet festivals at home and abroad since 2019.
