After the Show Extra: Live Klezmer Music by Rebecca Mac & Mattias Kaufmann of Mamaliga Klezmer Band

Join us on Saturday December 13 at 11:45 am for live klezmer music, performed by Rebecca Mac and Mattias Kaufmann of Mamaliga Klezmer Band in between the morning and afternoon performances of Hanukkats!

This musical performance will take place on Saturday, December 13, from 11:45 am - 12: 15 pm.

Plus, come enjoy chocolate coins, coloring sheets, a dress-up station, and a cat puppet craft! These activities are available after every performance on December 13 & 14, 11:30 am - 12:30 pm and 2:00 pm - 2:30 pm.

About the Musicians

Rebecca Mac and Mattias Kaufmann both perform in the Mamaliga Klezmer Band, a contemporary quartet performing original Klezmer and Eastern-European folk inspired compositions.

Rebecca Mac is a Boston-based violinist and violist, regularly performing in various ensembles including Mamaliga, Zol Zayn, a klezmer dance-band, and Zunroyz, a trio un-earthing string repertoire from the Jewish music archives. Mac has a degree in violin performance from Berklee College of Music.

Mattias Kaufmann is an accordionist and composer based in Boston, MA. They are a composer/performer for Magid Ensemble and Mamaliga. Mattias has taught and performed at international klezmer festivals including Yiddish New York, Yiddish Summer Weimar, and KlezKanada, and holds a degree in Contemporary Improvisation from the New England Conservatory.
