About the Class

After years of being asked “How did you make that?!”, masterful puppet builders Tom and Marianne Tucker present a one-evening workshop on the unusual construction techniques they’ve developed over their 45-year career!

Beginning with demonstrations of some of Tom and Marianne’s favorite tools, the workshop will go on to share several of their favorite “tool tricks” they use in puppet construction. They will share tips ranging from multifunctional shadow puppet controls to working with materials that you might not have ever considered before! The goal of this demonstration-focused workshop is to increase the working knowledge of puppet and scenery builders by revealing a variety of new techniques.

Puppeteers of all skill levels are welcome to join this special workshop, coming to us all the way from Pennsylvania!

Recommended for adults 18+
