Puppet Playtime for Toddlers and Tiny Tots
Puppet Playtime is a fun, interactive performance experience designed for very young children and their grown-ups. In each hour-long session, a friendly performer guides kids through free play, sing-a-longs, interactive stories, imagination games, and other activities. Puppet pals join in the fun all along the way.
Puppet Playtime is a great introduction for toddlers and preschoolers to the experience of live performance. We provide a welcoming, "lights-on," flexible environment for children and caretakers alike! Questions? Call the box office at 617-731-6400 x 101 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
Recommended for ages 0-4.
About the Performer
Harry LaCoste is a performer, teacher, and ukulele rockstar. After working behind the scenes on Sesame Street, he was inspired to try his hand at puppeteering. Since then, Harry has performed all over the country with puppets including in Boston with Good Hearted Entertainment and with the puppet improv teams Team Lopez (NYC) and Total Feltdown. In addition to his work as a touring puppeteer and musician, he travels to 21 different Bright Horizons Day Care Centers as an enrichment teacher using puppets, songs, and magic to tell stories and inspire creativity. He is also the proud parent of a toddler, who has given his approval to all Puppet Playtime activities!
Special Thanks! to Henry Bear's Park, Puppet Showplace Theater's "Incubator" program for new works; to Brenda Huggins and Phil Berman, and Goat on a Boat Puppet Theatre for guidance and inspiration from "Puppet Playgroup."
