DAF Day is Coming Up!

Next week, on October 9th, people nationwide are increasing the impact of their Donor Advised Funds by giving together!

Maximize your impact

When you make a gift with your DAF to Puppet Showplace Theater, you’re helping to:

  • Provide affordable access tickets to EBT, WIC, and ConnectorCare cardholders through our Card to Culture program

  • Fund scholarships for field trips for children at low-resource schools

  • Invest in diverse and innovative storytelling through our Incubator program and Creative Residency for Black Puppeteers

What is a DAF?

A DAF, or Donor Advised Fund, is a tax-advantaged charitable giving account (like a 401k, but for giving!). DAFs help your generosity go further:

  1. You set aside cash, appreciated stock, or other assets and receive immediate tax benefits.

  2. Your assets may grow tax-free in your DAF…

  3. …and you get to make a gift at your convenience to the nonprofits that matter to you.

In short — DAFs make it easy to make an impact!

DAF Day on October 9 is a great reminder to use your Donor Advised Fund to contribute to causes you care about. 37% of DAF accounts go unused in a given year, according to DAF Day organizer Chariot – yours doesn’t have to!
